Dear Diary,

I’m feeling so frustrated with those Republicans, I can hardly believe it. I’m trying to be a good guy about all this – keep everybody happy. And to be quite honest, Republicans should be happy that I’ve included them on so many talks. Unlike George W. Bush, I really am trying to be a uniter, not a divider. But they’re making it really difficult when my economic stimulus package is already smaller than I’d like, and they’re still trying to shrink it down. But I’m trying to be conservative in my spending, which you’d think they’d appreciate. I guess they’re just never happy unless they’re running the whole show, which is pretty obvious, given all the grief they’ve given everyone about Holder and Geithner.

Of course, those Republicans are getting their blogging friends involved, who are speciously claiming that I said, â??I won.â? Well, that may be true, but I pride myself on my tact and my way with words. Thereâ??s no way I would actually say that! I suppose this is these ridiculous things are going to come up a lot over the next four (most likely eight) years.
